  CHRISTMAS WALL PLAQUE

Hello Everyone!

It is 25th December , Day of Christmas and luckily my birthday also. 

So I am presenting you with two of my favourite art forms combined together in one project for my DT project. Here is a perfect gift for  Christmas  or to keep as show piece.

Inspired by the beautiful and christmasy moodboard of December month, I have created a wooden plaque with 3D decoupage (paper tole) and mixed media techniques 

Created this paper tole Mixed media plaque with 10-11 different 3D decoupage paper elements combined together to form the entire scene  

This is how I prepared my mdf base with Finnabair texture paste and sand paste and coloured with Lindy’s sprays to get the perfect  tone. 

Few of the close ups of the project. Dont miss the 3D looks of each and every elements of the plaque  

Added some Finnabair snowflake texture paste here and there to give snowy effect. Finished with deco stones, Glitters and metal beads on the flowers.

PENNY’S PAPER CRAFTY CHALLENGE #486- YEAR END MEGA CHALLENGE

I have used such a sweet image from SheepSki Designs. It's called Christmas Eve.  The image comes in 3 versions, one including Santa's sleigh flying past the moon. 

I've coloured the image with sketch pens, watercolours. For the moon i have coloured them with distress inks, applied Finnabair clear crackle paste and finished with moon stamp for more depth.  

For the background i embossed black cardstock and coloured it with Finnabair metallic waxes for night effect.

I've used a gorgeous image from All Dressed Up Stamps, called Summer Trainers. 

I have coloured with sketchpens, watercolors and lindy’s sprays. Added a dry wall tape in the background for textures.

Doors to New Opportunities

Hello Everyone!

I have altered a mdf door and a big handmade cardboard door cutout with rustic theme to show “when one door is closed, others always open ”.

I have used finnabair stencil on th background with lindy’s sprays, magicals and shakers  

For rust effect, i have used craftangles Rust effect paste on the doors, bars and locks 

Have used crackle paste on the doors to create a nice worn off door look.

Autumn Watering Can

Hello Everyone!

I have altered a watering can mdf cutout here in one if the live sessions on FB as my DT project. 

Sharing some of the closeups of the project. 

Have used old book papers to give texture around and to create backdrop of the window. 

Used four different embossing powders on the window to give colored textures. And added layers of flower element sheets

Have die cutout few leaf and foliages on an old book paper and colored to give autumn feel and used as fillers.
